No ratings or reviews
Ratings a business marks up about itself are self-serving. They never earn stars, whether they sit in LocalBusiness, Organization or Product markup.
Fill in your business details and copy valid JSON-LD for your home page. Free, no sign-up, and it runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere.
No star ratings or reviews are added, because Google ignores a business’s own. No Product markup either: a service business does not need it.
Your business
Your JSON-LD appears here once the starred fields are filled in.
This runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to Arva SEO or saved. In the Rich Results Test, choose Code, paste the markup and run it.
What to do with it
Put it on the page that is about the business, usually the home page, once. Then test the page. The steps differ by platform.
If you use Yoast SEO or Rank Math, they already add structured data. Fill in your business details there first (Yoast SEO: Settings, Site representation. Rank Math: Titles & Meta, Local SEO) and do not add a second LocalBusiness copy. Otherwise, edit your home page, add a Custom HTML block and paste the markup with the script lines around it. Update the page, then test it.
Most Shopify themes add some structured data on their own, so test your home page first. To add this, duplicate your theme as a backup, then open Online Store, Themes, Edit code, and paste the markup (with the script lines) into the template that shows your home page. Save, then test the page.
Open the page’s SEO settings, then Advanced SEO, then Structured data markup, and add the JSON. Use the “Copy JSON only” button; if Wix asks for the script lines, use the other copy button. Publish the site, then test it.
Add it to your home page only: open the page’s settings, then Advanced, then Page header code injection, and paste the markup with the script lines. Site-wide code goes in Settings, Developer tools, Code injection, but then it shows on every page. Save, then test the page.
Open the home page’s settings, then Custom code, and paste the markup with the script lines into Inside <head> tag. Publish the site, then test the page.
Follow Google’s rules
Ratings a business marks up about itself are self-serving. They never earn stars, whether they sit in LocalBusiness, Organization or Product markup.
Product results are for things people can buy on the page, with a price and availability. A service business is not eligible, and the markup only causes warnings.
The name, address, phone and hours in the markup should match what the page and your listings say. Leave blank what you do not have.
Valid markup does not guarantee a rich result or a better position. It helps search engines read the page, and Google decides what to show.

It writes LocalBusiness structured data (JSON-LD): your business name, type, address, phone, website, opening hours, service area, social profiles, logo and images, in the format search engines read. It gives the markup as text. You paste it into your website.
No. The form runs in your browser. What you type is not sent to Arva SEO or anyone else, and it is not saved. Close the tab and it is gone.
Google treats ratings and reviews that a business marks up about itself as self-serving, so they are not eligible for star results. Adding them can only cause warnings. Show real customer reviews on the page as plain text instead.
Product markup is for things people can buy on the page, with a price and availability. A service business does not need it, and it is not eligible for a product result.
No. Structured data helps search engines understand the page. It does not guarantee a ranking, a rich result or a map listing, and Google can choose not to show it.
Leave the street address blank and list the places you serve in “Areas you serve”. The town or city and country are still needed. Only add opening hours that are true.
Open Google’s Rich Results Test, choose Code, paste the markup and run it. It tells you whether Google can read it. A passing test does not mean Google will show anything special.
