Choose by the work

Which fits the job you have?

01

What Keyword Planner does better

It is free to use and the numbers are Google’s own. It shows what an ad could cost and forecasts results from your bids and budget, and it turns a keyword list into a Search campaign. If you run Google Ads, nothing replaces it.

02

When Arva SEO fits

You want the keywords you chose to turn into pages and results: one main search for each page, rank tracking, audits with the Top 5 fixes first and reports. Business owners can follow guided steps; SEO specialists can work with detailed findings.

03

A caution about any keyword number

Search volume is an estimate, and it is built for advertisers. A keyword can have a high number and still be wrong for your business. Check relevance, intent and what Google already shows for the search.

04

Know its limits

Google says keywords with very low search volumes, or sensitive keywords, may not be discoverable or forecastable in Keyword Planner. Arva SEO also cannot see every search, so treat both as guides, not promises.

Working together

Use the numbers, then do the work.

A simple shared workflow: find searches in Keyword Planner or in Arva SEO, choose the page for each one, review the fixes and track progress. Arva SEO adds the keyword map, the audit and the reporting to that sequence.

Do not choose on a promised ranking gain. Use your own Search Console results and the work you completed to judge progress.

Try Arva SEO with one website: open keyword research, put the best searches in the keyword map and track them with the free rank tracker. You can also check what each search means with the free search intent checker.

FAQGoogle Keyword Planner

Questions, answered.

Is Arva SEO a replacement for Google Keyword Planner?

Not necessarily. Keyword Planner is Google’s own free tool for planning ads, and its numbers come from Google. Arva SEO is for the organic SEO work around the research: mapping keywords to pages, audits, rank tracking and reports. Many people use both.

Is Keyword Planner free?

Google describes it as a free resource for advertisers. You need a Google Ads account to use it, and Google’s help page says you complete account setup first, including billing information. Checked on 2 November 2026.

Which one should I use for SEO keyword research?

Use Keyword Planner when you want Google’s own search numbers or you are planning ads. Use Arva SEO when you want to keep the keywords you chose, give each one a page, track where you rank and act on the audit. Search volume and difficulty are estimates in any tool, so check what Google shows for the search.

Can I compare the tools before paying?

Yes. Keyword Planner has no fee of its own, and Arva SEO’s Free plan covers your first website. Try both with one real website and the searches that matter to your business. Explore the other comparisons.
